My Story

From a torn ACL to Doctor of Physical Therapy.

My name is Dr. Nadim, and I’m Palestinian-Brasilian-American — a mouthful, I know. My passion in life has always been pretty simple: positively impact as many lives as possible. I had no idea where that would take me until I tore my ACL playing pickup basketball my first year of undergrad at the University of North Texas.

That injury caused some rough times, mentally and physically — but ironically, it turned out to be one of the best moments of my life, because it led to my discovery of physical therapy. My PT helped me tremendously on the road to recovery, and that’s the point I decided to pursue it myself. I graduated from Duke in 2021 and have been practicing ever since, trying to give back what my PT gave me over ten years ago.

I’d always been generally active and thought I was eating pretty clean most of my life — turns out that’s true for a lot of people. When I finally decided to take my own health seriously, I was shocked by how little I actually knew about food, working out, and general health. That kicked off some intense research and a lot of practical experimentation on my own body.

Going through my own transformation gave me that exact same urge to give back — the same one I felt after tearing my ACL all those years ago. I’m completely fired up to help others through their own.

Now let’s do the same for you.
